Jade and Zane

This is Jade and Zane, OC ponies of me and my nephew Anthony. He's been bugging me about finishing this for weeks and I finally did it. Huzzah.

Also he's 12, and IN MY OPINION he's too young to have a cutie mark, one to stay canon and two because he's too young to honestly know what his cutie mark should be. Hell, I don't even know what MY cutie mark should actually be. I went with the anchor for a multitude of symbolic reasons, I can't honestly think of anything more accurate. But he told me he wanted a cutie mark and that it should be a paint brush and palette.. I was like HELL NAY. Not only is that the most cliche cutie mark imaginable, but HE DOESN'T EVEN PAINT. So that is NOT his cutie mark. So the upper right drawing is based on that logic.
